I would like to know how you like the light. I think it is a great light to hunt with.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

So far, I love it. I hope it's not too bright for fox that are under 50 yards but I'm very happy with the 250 package. Light, caps and mounts seem well constructed and is alot better than having a 6 volt lantern on your scope. Between this light, my new Jack attack and soft body johnny Stewart call, I am pumped for Nov.

The light is not to bright for up close fox. I have had them into 5 yards with no problem. Sometimes I would even like a little more light for longer shots. But carrying the extra weight of more powerful lights is not worth it.
You will get to like it even more after you use it for a wile. Good luck.

hows everybody using these kill lights?? Mounted to your gun, hand held? Is it your scanning light? If its mounted to your gun and you scan with it wont your gun be pointed at anything the light hits, possibly people, houses??am i missin something??

No, your not missing anything.  Most including myself use a seperate scanning light either handheld or hat mounted.  My kill light is mounted on my rifle for shooting.  After I id the animal, I switch over to my scanning light for the shot.  Of course both are always on in my case.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!
