I went out last night for the very first time and boy I didn't know what I was doing. about half hour in the hunt my scanning light ran out of battery so I was scanning with my kill light on the gun. as I was getting ready to leave to head back to camp I heard something run off. I was using the female coyote long howl. I went out today during the day and didn't call nothing but when I was walking around I found some fresh tracks and tried following them but the foot of snow was making making me tiredsome. I'm gonna go out again tonight. With all the snow is there anything special I should do? What calls should I be using?
