Why don't you just wait for the cap mounted scanning light to come out?  Pretty neat set up though.

I don't know when its coming out but buckwheat doesn't seem to be having problems killing fox with his existing set up.  I just figured he could wait instead of rigging something up.  Whatever works for you is what I always say.

Ben did you get that light you ordered yet?

I should be getting it this week.  I did order a xlr 250 red led one from jeremiah and it came in two days.  fast shipping every time.  once I get it in I will do a side by side comparison of em.  prob gonna be using the handy cam to show the differences of all three lined up at night. not gonna be the same as in person but better then an opinion on ones thoughts of the lights.  with it this way everyone can see what the light can do.  gonna line up a nite lite wizard, predator light, xlr250 red led light, optronics 350 yd scope light and then the unique fire light ultramag suggested in the scope light thread.

I will probably change when I see what they come out with. But right now it is the best I have to use. I think the next few years there will be some neat stuff with LEDs.  I think things will just get better and   lighter to carry and easer to use. Heck after a wile every body will be able to kill coyotes and foxes easily.   LoL

I agree.  Lights are changing quickly.  Gonna be neat to see what the next big thing is.  I know one thing.  I can't afford to keep buying stuff.

That is the truth, tons of money. I have well over a 1000 bucks in lights and some I now can hardly give away.

By the way, an inch and a half sch 40 pipe will fit on the 100model
as a shroud if you cut a relief in it.

Leglifter how long does the XLR100 light last if you leave it on? Or how many 30 minutes stand could you make with it before you have to pop in another battery?

What I did like about the XLR250 is how wide of a beam it had.
