Thompson Encore barrel. Nice blued 223 caliber. Heavy barrel with muzzle brake. $175.00 Bases included. Great for that steady shot at predators.

What scope did you have on it?  I already have a 209x50 and a turkey barrel.  I just put a deposit on a CZ 223 with a BSA scope.

I was just looking at one at the Sportsmans warehouse. 223 model 527 American, single set trigger. Very nice gun. I think it was priced at $627.00 or a little more.

That single set trigger is great.  Only thing I don't like is the backward safety.  VERY accurate rifles.

Did you check with Grice's?

I bought a 527 American in 22 Hornet last year and they beat Bob's A & N and Sportsmans by $50.

Grice  $479
Bob's  $534
Sportmans   $527

The one I looked at had the normal safety. My other ones have the reverse safety and it took a little getting used to. Other than that they're great guns for the money. I usually buy my guns off of a gunsmith/dealer in W. Newton Pa. He cuts the price some for me because I buy so much stuff there. I still shop prices just to make sure.

Randy sitzinger. I think that's how his name is spelled. Have you been there? He will order anything you want and show you his cost from the manufacture book. He is ok with making a few bucks and he will beat any ones price.

Between the Pontiac Dealer and Rite Aid on 136 just as you go into W. Newton from Rt 51. Go between the Dealer and drug store and his store is about 150 yards on the left. No, you can't use my discount. Not free any way. HaHa

Hey mutt, that's a chevy dealer, Speney's. He does all my gunsmithing too.  ;)
