Try to keep the light high out of their eyes,
just so you can see them glow.
its tough when you're excited.

bulb/mouse squeaker to start and finish... in between I normally have 3-5 different calls that I do at least 2 series of calls with... use whatever you feel comfortable with... good luck...

Led might not be bright enough.
It will work out to 40 or 50 yds though.
Try it out on your dog if you have one
You don't want one too bright either.
A red filter will help also IMO

I have a couple of the 6volt Night Lites... plus I have the Night Lite gun light mounted on my tri pod... all work off the same 6V battery... found these are as good or better then anything out there...
