District 2 "Link-Up" for State Wide Hunt
« on: January 08, 2009, 10:44:14 PM »
i'd like to present an outlet for District 2 members who are participating (or thinking of participating) in the upcoming District Vs District State Wide Hunt(Jan 30th, 31st & Feb 1st) to find a calling partner to hunt with if they want.

District 2 incudes Philadephia Co., Delaware Co., Chester Co., Lancaster Co., Dauphin Co., Lebanon Co., Schuykill Co., Berks Co., Lehigh Co., Northhampton Co., Bucks Co., & Montgomery Co..

please include whether you...

a~ willing to travel to hunt with another member
b~ willing to host another member to hunt with you

etc.....

lets find out who's participating, who wants to partcipate, who lives closest to one another and get rolling from here. it would make the most sense to have guys/gals closest to one another hunt with one another. this is only a suggestion as i know some prefer to hunt solo.

if your reading this and not yet member and reside in District 2 and want to join us. you need to send in your application PRIOR to the hunt. any non member may attend the check in and submit application at that time but your weekends fur cannot count until dues are accepted by the treasurer. non members who are on the fence on joining are encouraged to come out to meet and greet with us so we can sway you in the right direction.... ;D ;). we'd love to meet you and have you aboard!

follow link to PPHA application, print it out, fill it out, stuff'er in the mailbox before the 26th or so to be accepted in time by the treasurer.

http://www.ppha.us/application.htm

Send applications to:
PPHA
P.O. Box 52
Wapwallopen, Pa. 18660

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i'll start.  ;D
I reside in Elverson, Chester Co.
I'm willing to hunt with any new member at their location friday night, and in turn willing to host another new member(or the same) at my location Saturday night. I have a spare bed and willing to have that saturday night hunter crash here and hunt again sunday morning before check in.
any questions please ask away or feel free to PM me.
Woody I'll take you up on hunting with you Friday night.  But, Saturday night I'll hunt solo as I have a 60th B-day party for my Mother-in-law.  Let me know if you're up for that.  And I'll be able to hunt Sunday Morning.
Hey guys I'm from Lancaster, Pa
I'll probably be hunting around home on Friday with some buddies but could make it out Woodys way or some other area for Saturday.
I respectfully disagree longstuff.  If non-members are to get interested, it WON'T be from NOT reading what's NOT available to them as a NON-member.
Have you ever wanted to buy something advertised on TV when you were prohibited from viewing the ad?  ...didn't think so.  Non-members need to be able to sample the salad bar.
invite any and all non-members to the check in. let'em see what a good time it is being a part of the PPHA. offer applications to any that show interest or to whomever ask's for them. one more person(s) to attend your next district event now that they will be members. ;)
