Just warming up,,,,
« on: August 28, 2017, 12:57:57 PM »
I'm just warming up for the September hunt....  15 seconds after a female deep howl and he was down.  I had 3-4 other coyotes sound off also.  This was the dumb one of the group.

Awesome!! Congrats man, Friday night I had almost the same scenario with Lone pup howl, about 45 seconds in I had one running the edge of a field and the swirling wind allowed him to wind me before I could seal the deal

Warming up myself! One less fawn killer! Shot a big male last week at 150 yards with my Ruger American Predator 243 caliber. Hornady 58 grain Superformance dropped him like a sack of spuds!
I'm new to the forum. Can anyone let me know how to attach a pic?

I just picked up a Ruger American in the 204.  Still waiting to kill something with it.

Welcome aboard MountainMan!  Lots of people used photobucket in the past. I've heard that they charge good $$$ for that now. There is a spot in the lower left corner when you're posting. It says "attachments and other options". You can use that, but the file size is restricted to 1000kb per picture. 2 picture limit. Jake has been posting some pics lately. Maybe he has a better way.

We are going to change your name to MisterCoyote.  Congratulations!
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

Here's  how I do it, but not sure if it's the best or easiest.....   I take the pic with my phone.  I then e mail the pic back to me.  I save the e mailed pic.  When it asks what size,  I use medium.  I then go to the post,  click on add attachment,  it asks from where, I choose my photo library,  I choose the pic I just e mailed to myself.  Choose  the medium size.   The pic will show up below in a tiny square  where you added it as an attachment, not in the actual area you type.  When you "post" it will then show up.  Go back in and read the post you just made and it should be there.

If you just pick a photo from your phone it will be to big of a file.  You have to reduce it.  That's why I e mail the pic back to myself and save it.  Then it gives me a size option when I attach it on the boards.    Now I'm sure you are totally confused!!!
