Well I noticed it was time to renew my Conceal Carry Permit, so off to the Sheriffs office I went. New requirements with two references, a whole new start from scratch application...REALLY? I was informed "Yep that's the way it's done now"...and "oh by the way...due to the volume of applications it will be May before you hear back"...REALLY? My permit expires this month, I was told there is a six month grace period...thank goodness! I ask what happened to the postcard notification...."Oh, we quit doing that"

Stay current folks as things change without notice...especially at the local levels..

My Country Sheriff's office wants new paper work for renewal too. However, it's always in and out for the permit. They call the PICS system, take my money and snap a pic for the new permit. Usually done in 15 minutes....

 ;) ;) ;) ;) Picked up my permit today and had the photo taken  8) 8) 8) 8) Now I be legal again... ;D ;D ;D ;D a little over 2 weeks... :P :P :P :P :P
