Terrific time to be in the woods

Back in the 60's you didn't have much commotion after the Moon came up so you could just go out.

Later as development arrive I changed to going out after 10pm when human activity would quiet down

If you learned this method back in the day you will get into trouble

with the newer lights on people as you are inclined to use your light sparingly even though you can now afford batteries...lol...I never wore white or anything just stayed in the shadows

had a 2 cell flashlight,a single shot .22 and a Burnham Brothers call with a rubber band. I sometimes could get a fox or two by crossing over the tops of snow covered fields and looking down into the little ravines between them.

They would be in there hunting rabbits which were in great abundance in those days.

..............Everything is very different now that's for sure..........stick to the edges and shadows and go slow....
