We are working on a way to help out the guys that are further away be able to just bring their animals down last day. I understand not everyone is going to want to make several trips and I struggle with this myself in the January and February hunts. I will update when I get some more information. This should be a fun hunt. To my knowledge it is the only hunt of its kind (early season).

Update and FAQ

Ok, so here is what we we going to do for the guys who live far away and cannot bring animals in for weigh in until the last day. To avoid bring a rotting couple day old animal to weigh ins, we will be accepting CHILLED animals. This does NOT mean frozen, soaked in water, or frozen then thawed. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE BRINGING A CHILLED ANIMAL YOU MUST BE ABLE TO POST A PHOTO OF SAID ANIMAL ONTO THE WRIGHT MILLING FEED & SUPPLY INC FACEBOOK PAGE WITH A PHASE WRITTEN ON A PIECE OF PAPER IN THE PHOTO. The phrase will be determined at a later date and posted on the Wright Milling Feed & Supply Facebook page at midnight at the start of the hunt. Please be sure to do this because otherwise your animal will be turned away if it is chilled. THE PREVIOUSLY STATED RULES ONLY APPLY TO CHILLED ANIMALS. ALL OTHERS NEED NOT APPLY

Another question we have had is about hunting in teams. Hunting in teams is allowed. Each hunter in the team or group must be entered into the hunt. This means if you are hunting fox and coyote in a group you must all be entered into the categories. You may NOT enter one partner into all of them and the rest into just coyote. These rules are standard for every contest that is run in the state to my knowledge and is nothing new to most of you. Please be sure to make sure your entire team is registered for the hunt. If there are any other questions please feel free to ask. Thanks

If hunting in a team is allowed does the total between the two team members count as one total score or does each team member get to claim only what they shot. Just wondering how a two man team is going to compete against a one man team.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

It's the same as every other hunt in the state. U can enter each animal only once. Some people prefer to call in groups, some prefer to call by themselves, others do a mix. Whether u hunt in a team or by yourself is neither here nor there. You and whoever u hunt with will be responsible for splitting your winnings. This hunt is going off of weight. Heaviest animals pay out. Top 5 pay in each category. I am unaware of any hunts in the state that do a scoring system based on number of kills.
