One of the most productive sounds made on an open reed call is canine sounds (pup kiyi's) and prey sounds. Start off with a rabbit distress then go right into the puppy sounds,, back to the rabbit distress back to the canine sounds. Many times when electronics will not get them to come in or basic prey sounds. Combo sounds will make them come in fast and running. It does not have to be the rabbit either. It can be woodpecker, fawn, anything that is a food sound. However you have to throw in the caniine sound to get the red, gray, and or coyote salavatory glands a working.
