I understand your concerns about keeping lights is stock.
That has been hard to do since they were custom made. The warrenty time on my lights has never been set. I will deal with each problem as they come up. By the way there has been no warranting issues out there I know of. Unlike like all the other light dealers that just go to there china dealer and order in what they think they need for spares. That is a better way for dealing with lights. Custom lights are just a little harder to control quanty.
As far as how will these new lights hold up? I think very good and should be as good or better the other china lights. As far as quality,  they are assembled with quality first to hold of any warranty issues.  If you think laying out thousands of dollars on testing and then to purchase thousands of dollars worth of lights. Quility is a big concern I stride for. That is the key to good product's. Building the most Powerful lights at the same time is just icing on a cake.

I had a piece of plastic break on my head light and ask Ernie about it and you know what he did? Any guesses? He said bring it to the camp out and I'll take care of it! He never once ask if I threw it against a tree or beat a red to death with it. He just fixed it and I'll take that Custom Customer service over any big chain light any day. So it's gonna be two more weeks let's rip his head off for it. Makes a lot of sense!

I can't speak for anyone but myself.... I have purchased 4 lights from Ernie and use them hard during hunting season.  I'm usually out 4-5 times a  week calling....some weeks more.  I have yet to have a failure with any of the lights.  I do realize ANY product has a life expectancy, but the way Ernie's lights have preformed for me, I feel confidant that his lights will out live me!

There is always something new on the market.  Something bigger and better.  But lets be honest....how big is big enough or even too big.  His lights will out shine further than the average hunter can shoot!

Just my opinion.

Love mine, zero problems with it.

Glad to see them improving even more. Get any brighter and you'll be setting them critters on fire.
