Ermine?

anybody ever see one in PA? I am almost 100% sure I called one in the other night. Their range does dip down to where im at...but I don't see them mention in the PGC book anywhere, which means theyre off limits......it was 100% snow white color, which is their winter coat

I saw some kind of weasel that was all white in deer season a few years back. The size was right but I don't know if there are other kind weasels that are also white. This was also in Jefferson county

Bees, in all my time spent in the woods hunting an trapping I have only ever seen 3.  Two of them were called in at night while calling for fox an the other one I seen walking out from a stand.

In PA the short tail weasel turns white for his winter coat. When white, they are called Ermine. They are rarely seen and are very seclusive and cunning hunters. They are unprotected and can be hunted and or trapped with no limits.
