Bear it

My first set last night got busted......by a bear. 

I was ending my first set around 9:00 and took a step towards my call when I saw him walking in, about 70 yards to my left. I let him close about 1/2 that before I gave a couple shouts to scared him off. Not sure if he was coming to my call or if he just happened to be walking through.

I made another set about 2 miles from there but........kept thinking about something walking up behind me....so I cut it short and called it a night.

Never called in a bear, but it is always in the back of my mind.
One night last year, we went calling on my neighbors property. About 10 minutes into the stand, we hear a twig snap right behind us. Turned out to be his black lab that had followed us into the stand. Scared the crap out of us for a second...
