I gave this question a vote but it only pertains to fox and coon...Things happen as I predict. I call and see eyes in direction I expected, most often. Night.
When it comes to the Eastern Coyotes I have had to not shoot for safety sake.. So I gave that a vote that coyotes show up in the most unsafe directions... I have had them come along farmers porches, in the corrals with wildlife, down the county roads, etc.. they seem to use to their advantage the least resistance and objects when they come to a call.. kind of like what a soldier would do or the swat team when they are coming after you... Cover...I once called in a Eastern Coyote that walked out on the county road and was clicking his teeth at me... there I am with my shotgun on the other side of the road. Oh he was dead but I would have been breaking the law and I don't break the law that's all there it is too it..I had # 4 buckshot and he was only 25 yards from me... Figure....what if someone was jogging or riding a bike down the road.. or what if I shot it and someone ran over it before I could get to it...
So I split my vote....I know just what fox and other predators are going to do.
However Eastern Coyotes they use the least resistance so you never know how they will come to your calling... Twice now I would have had to be on the farmers porch to kill two of them... HA Ha...Now I ain't going to do that....That's not hunting.... Funny one one of the farmers told me I could do that if I want.. LOL!!!!
