Fireflies are HERE!
« on: September 02, 2013, 11:00:00 PM »
Hey guys finally got the Fireflies done and tested and they are about to hit the shelves.....well cyber shelves lol. These calls are glow in the dark acrylic closed reed calls, Cottontail distress and coaxer/bird distress. Cottontail is green and coaxers are blue. $18 each or $35 for the set. The glow pic is a bit blurry but it will get the point across! lol

Bees
Cool idea and I like the different from the normal calls people make. Might even help me find a dropped calls. I will have to check them out at the fire company.  But you know someone is going to say they are too bright and spooked critters. :-)
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

If they are glowing green, I was told yotes and fox can't seen green light.  Thats why some hunting lights shine green.....That would be my argument for supporting the fireflies....

When your out at sea and on the bridge of a ship or boat...The area is illuminated with red lights....This allows you to see well and it doesn't show out into the ocean environment.  So red is your best color for night time to remain stealth!! Just my opinion...

The glow they give off wont bothers preds. It's just enough glow to find them if they were to be dropped.....or to find them on the lanyard in pure darkness....also the color difference between the cottontail and coaxer helps pick which call you need in a pinch

I received my cottontail distress firefly in the mail today. It's a sweet little call that can fit right in your pocket or easily hang on your lanyard, and it's sounds great!  Excellent idea and call bees!!
