Groundhog hunting with a bow

It won't be long now and the groundhogs will be coming out. Anyone else hunt them with a bow? If you haven't you missing out! It's a blast and really hones your stalking and shooting skills.

I never specifically went out with my bow to shoot hogs.  However, I have taken a few from my tree stand when archery hunting.

Saw a fat Pigmy Grizzly bear on Saturday  8)...kinda dumbfounded my son and I. :-\..so neither one of us got a shot off!! They be coming out but not today 27° and very windy :o

I love to shoot ground hogs with the Bow,  Just Scout the out, see them within range, Draw, Whistle They stand up, you release. even if they are on the run for the hole you Whistle, they will stand..

Shot fox with my recurve but never a groundhog.  When are the groundhog pups weaned so I can start hunting them.
