New Video: The Change Up
« on: October 10, 2012, 06:30:04 PM »
And so another year of coyote hunting begins here in New York and we start it off at a place we like to call "ol' faithful". It has become a bit tradition for us to begin our seasonal success at this magnificent honey hole, once again it wouldn’t disappoint….enjoy!

When you stated in the video that the coyotes basically have no place else to go...did you mean that it is a heavily human populated area?

How far did you have to walk in to set up?

He meant because it is an isolated cover area surrounded by probably a half mile of fields in all directions.  We are guessing coyotes run around freely at night under cover of darkness and then flock to this isolated patch as it gets light or they flee with their kills/catch

How far is the water source?  Is there a large stream, river or lake nearby?

Thought he said wind was blowing in their faces.  Surprised dog didnt go around edge of field to get down wind.

There is a pond off the left edge and the brush can be swampy in areas at times.  That is also another nice lure for them.  It's as hot of a spot as they come!   Some dogs are too eager and get careless.  Those don't last long.  This one was injured so it was probably extra eager

another awesome video from you guys. I'm sure you get asked all the time, but what caliber are you shooting in that setup? The stubby tail cracked me up too
