Penny Power Ads
« on: October 05, 2012, 10:04:17 AM »
I'm thinking of placing an ad or 2 in the local Penny Power or Penny Pincher circular trying to get property to hunt for fur season.  Any thoughts?

Here are some sample ads I was thinking of running.

Ad#1: Farmers are you loosing livestock due to predation.  Predator hunter looking for property to hunt this coming season.  Call Dave 215-285-1820
Ad#2: Are your chickens disappearing.  Could be the sly fox taking them.  I’m looking for property to hunt for this fur season.  Call Dave 215-285-1820
Ad#3:  Has your favorite barn cat gone missing.  Was it the pack of coyotes running thru your property? I'm a responsible hunter looking for property to hunt.  Call Dave 215-285-1820

The only problem I see is you are putting your phone number out there for all the Anti's.  You could always do craigs list to stay anonymous.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

I ran four ads over the last three years and only got one call.  Ran the ads in two different regiional pp.  Worth a shot.

I have thought of running adds for a while but never have yet. I spent a couple hours a few weeks ago asking permission and picked up a couple more places to hunt predators.
