Time to get away

feeling the concrete jungle closing in.Therapy-Headed to Potter county tonight-Itinerary-dropped off around 9pm-walk dirt road 3 miles-trek ahalf mile or so---overnight along Kettle creek-Saturday-look for beaver sign for next week,s trapping trip-scout for turkeys-explore some new country-overnight in the next valley-trek the last few miles to  the cabin sunday morning where bisquick pancakes with fresh maple syrup await(thanks to my best friends wife)the north country-a backpack-sleeping bag- tarp and topo map-could life be any simpler(at least for 2 days)It FUELS the soul!!!!!!Yuha an anpetu waste!!

Back to reality-Fantastic time though-gobbling turkeys woke me up this morning-great star filled skies to fall asleep under-saw 15 deer-1 turkey-several grouse-some native brook trout-No coyote calling-covered a good bit of roadless ground and didn,t want to carry the extra weight on this trip
