was just watching news this morn. and in upstate new york there is a canadian goose that lost her male mate. she has taken refuge in an empty flower pot in a cemetary. it seems an unlikely hero came to her aid while she sits on her nest waiting for her goslings to hatch! a whitetail deer lays right beside the goose and protects her when ever a person or any animal approaches! the deer takes a defensive stance and lays his ears back as if hes gonna charge. i think this is a very unique story and i just wonder what happens when she has her goslings!!
