Notice deer are coming to the calling now be careful

It's always like this.. Those love sick buck are starting to come to the dying rabbit.. As always we make sure of our target.  Be careful of critters that run full bore at you...By the way if your hunting with a bow or crossbow now...try a cottontail distress sound on a mouth call. You may get a monster...Remember electronics are not legal for deer... However mouth call or hand calls are...

When that 7 pointer came in the other day, I had the Power Dogg on rabbit distress.  I merely thought it was coincidence that the buck showed up.  I have seen deer look and stare in the direction of a call, but did not think they would actually come towards it.  What would the reasoning be?  They dont eat varmint, and I am sure they dont want to screw it ;D

We had to nice bucks come in satuday night. Then we decided to mess with them with the deer sounds on the foxpro we had the one come about 10 yards from the call.

No see they are in the rut this week..Their horns are bothering them...I don't know if it's an aggressive move or what... Near had a few wrap their legs around me and say "UB I Love You!"...
Hence your archery guys  if things are slow...try the rabbit in distress on a mouth call... You just might get a buck to come over to your tree stand or a fox or a coyote. you sure ain't going to scare away deer when predator calling.. They love the calls.. Nice to see them after Christmas grazing out in the fields as you call.  They just keep moving along will look in your direction and then continue on their slow move across the field.. More grazing then going from point A to point B.
