Handgun hunting in special reg. areas
« on: October 29, 2010, 10:34:08 AM »
With the technology advancements in shotgun slugs, and the use of in-line muzzloaders. The efective range of these weapons has changed dramatically, and surpassed the range of a .44 magnum. Does anyone else wish they could hunt deer with a handgun? I believe there would need to be limits to calibers used, such as straight walled cases only. I just think it would be nice to use my redhawk .44 for doing the deer drives in the thick stuff we have around home.

Any thoughts on this?
