Beware airline charges

Airlines are charging $20.00for first bag and $30.00 second bag. EACH WAY. So if you have a one bag and gun case it cost you an extra $100.00

yep...fuel surcharges...even though fuel costs have come down.
They have been doing this for some time.
Not only that...you better watch the weight of your bags as well.

No wonder there is no room for a carry on above the headspace.

Kinda funny how Southwest can do it with no bag charges and the other ones can't. Southwest charges 3 bucks for a drink and the other ones charge 7 bucks. Southwest tickets are no more than the others.  With Southwest, when you make a total of 8 round trips you earn one free round trip any where in the continental US. The others take forever. So, if Southwest can do it for less why  can't the others?

SouthWest some years and I think it is running out soon.  They locked in on fuel prices before they starting going up.  The other airlines didn't because they thought the prices would never go as high as they are.
