Ideas on cleaning reeds?
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:53:27 AM »
I have many open reed calls including Tweety, Sceery etc. Seems after they are used for a short period they get clogged and won't blow right. You guys have any ideas how to clean the reeds? Thanks

mild soap solution. some reeds may deteriorate fast if you were to use a cleanser or rubbing alcohol.

If you know the type of material and thickness, I would just replace it.  Chances are they are already going bad.
