Bring it on.

Wow, Finally we are getting some winter like weather. I think that is one factor that has been hurting my hunting. Too much food and not enough hungry predators willing to answer distress calls. Hopefully we get some snow after deer season or during so I can scout for tracks.

I seems like the last two or three times out i have hit a wall.  i don't think i saw eyes myself in two trips, i did call in a grey last week that my buddy got but i never saw it.   Last night was a bust, we didn't see a set of eyes the whole night.  When i got home i told the wife and she said what do you think is wrong, i said maybe the weather, maybe we were overcalling some areas or maybe it is not cold enough.  but after a good nights sleep i am thinking that i (we) may have been getting sloppy in our sets,  i need to get back to the basics and slow down and approach every stand as if it were new.

There will be periods of what I call no call ins......However it could be that you walked in to far on each new stand.  Maybe someone talked maybe someone slammed a door. Someone stood in the wrong spot when making the stand...Someone had the wrong kind of light on their head or person...

When it's dry.....before departing you got to give them vigorous bulb squeaking for about 5 minutes or the UBS.    LOL  LOL  LOL
