Are you clicking on the icon to the left of the envelope under the users name?
The posts get moved to wherever the moderator thinks is appropriate.

KP you are in the Members group, so you should have access to all the member forums.

As for viewing member profiles...I dont know.

The Mods move topics to various areas....some get kept some just get moved to the trash
