Thanks for the Congrats. It was a team effort with Uncle Buck. It was an old male, approximately 40 lbs. We were using Critte "R" Calls around 7:15 p.m. I was up off the ground in a tree stand about a 40 yard shot with a Mossberg Pump that I just won. It didn't see me at all.
The land owner called me about a coyote running up on her deck one day. The next day, she also found one killing her chickens and wiping out her ducks. She came out of the house one morning and it started to growl and come towards her. When I took the coyote down for her to see, she said it wasn't the one. Looks like brother Jim & I will be going back. They are starting to get aggressive, she has about 30 acres and it is surrounded by a housing development.
We should be getting the pictures back by this weekend.
The sheep farmers will start calling us shortly about coyote kills.
