these lights are heavy built inside,i cut the heavy plastic,and put a 1 inch elastic,headband on mine,i also soldered a 6 volt gel battery to it.It will run on a 6 volt screw bulb,or even the same kripton bulb the 139 dollar nite lite runs on.For 22 dollars you can have a good light.

Thanks for the info. Just ordered the light from colemans. If you can help, 6 V gel battery- same as 6V flash light battery? If not where can I get it and where can I get a kripton bulb to fit this headlight retrofit.

you can find the batteries at gander mountain for 12 dollars.They are rechargeable.

Radio Shack has the kripton bulbs for 2.75 apiece.
