Scuttle904:
Anyone mind sharing their sequences you have been successful with this time of year? Had a couple hang up last night barking at me but wouldn't break the woodline.

Misterjake23:
You're not experiencing anything others don't have problems with.  If I had to guess, I'd same that's the most common problem with coyotes.

In my opinion,  there is no magic secrete or sound.   Try to get in the woods.  Don't try to call them into the open.  Stay patient,  "wait them out ".  Often times they will come in after you're done calling to investigate.

There is a great article in this months Predator Extreme dealing with just this issue.    I recommend getting a copy and reading it.

Scuttle904:
My biggest question is have you been successful using prey and coyote sounds in the same sequence or do you stick with one or the other?

Misterjake23:
Yes I have.  But I limit my calling.   I try not to play a sound more than a minute or two then turn it off and wait 3-5 minutes.  Sometimes longer.

Buckwheat:
This time of year if they do not come right in away. You can wait them out, sounds easy but it is harder to stay put then ya think some times. I never can stay long enough, but I will never know for sure because I left. LOL
