As I'm prepareing for this weekends hunt and my stuff is now occuping the dining room and table, my wife asked me what was the sale ad for dicks sporting goods was doing folded to a particular page for. I told her that I was just going to call about a gun in the ad. She looked at all my stuff, layed out in the room, and asked"WHEN WILL THIS END" ?? Knowing that I was busted BIG time at this point( and trying to use some quick thinking), I asked her what she wanted for christmas this year.  To make a long story short and needless to say, it's gonna be good to get away for the weekend. 8)

these are the times I feel grateful I'm single... just bought 6 new reels and 2 rods in the past month, and have had to answer to no one...  8)

"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

I really can't complain, I've been married over 30 years and she has never stopped me from hunting. Actually I've slowed WAY down with age. I used to leave before light and not be home till after dark. And this started with bow season and MAYBE ended with rifle. As for the gun----------maybe just one more.  YEA,RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
