:) HAHAHAHA  I just thought it was amusing but I'm easily amused...the coat hanger "chain" ..I think that was a 3 hanger set-up.  lol  All that time you other Trappers waste boiling and waxing, and gloves, etc. ...like the man says if they wuz afraid of metal they would never hunt back behind your shed where the last 10 cars you owned are stored for restoration,,,,just sayin... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D............................. 8)

Yep! Iffen they wur afraid of metal statement is just the tip of the iceberg.

Poorman outdoors is better off then he presents. His whole family is involved. He even does some videos for a small local TV show in his state.

I watched his videos. He's a hoot.
His idea to make a trap mold, for freezing weather. For each trap, each set.
Why doesn't he think to dig those big beds before the ground freezes?? or bury the same size block of wood before freeze up??? Pre-season work... Geez, would save him some time chipping frozen ground. Time is money on the trapline.
But I like the guy.

He should at least have his clothes hangers made up before season.

Buckwheat, I set a few traps today in freezing conditions. Woulda liked the Poor Man to be along. We would still be setting with the head lights of the pickup.

I know I would not ask him for pointers if he was along. I would have all the wrong tools. I love to see him set traps in a junk yard.
