newbie to trapping

So my daughter  who will be 12 in november asks me if we could try trapping so of course I say yes. Here is the question I need to buy traps now I know mb's are top shelf. I have been looking at bridger 1.75's and #2 dogless. You can buy 2 bridger to every 1 mb. We would be targeting fox, coyote, bobcat, and she would like to catch a coon which I don't think would be a problem. Any input would be greatly apperciated. I also forgot to mention a fisher that a friend of mine has killing his chickens.

Go to the pa trappersnake Web site.
They have trapping events around the state that sell most of the suff you are looking for.
There is one in District 8 September 21
I will also be giving a calling demo there.
They also have trapping demos at most of these events.
Good luck teaching her. She will remember trapping for the rest of here life.

We do plan on attending some shows and we have already taken our cable restraint class. I just want to make sure im looking in the right direction on traps for the target species I mentioned. My daughter already got a few traps free at the last show we went to but they are 1.5 dukes and dog proofs for coon.

  I hope you can make the Newville Show. I have a friend who is very active in the PTA D8, who has a daughter 12 years old. She is a top notch trapper  Maybe introduce the young ladies.

Bridger #2 will hold any critter in Pa. An all around, right size, land trap.
For Coon, #11's, #1 1/2's or Dog Proofs (DP's)

Thanks Hern, I have been looking really hard at the bridger #2 dogless . Just wanted a little input from some experienced trappers. We are from lycoming county. I do plan on buying her a few more dogproof  but want to make sure the #2 dogless arent overkill for fox and big enough for coyote.

I don't really see the comparision between trap type and best rifle but its not the rifle its the person behind it.
