1st Coyote and Biggest Buck in 2 Days
« on: October 11, 2011, 03:49:18 PM »
I went archery hunting on our land in West Virginia this past weekend with my dad and had a good one! Friday morning at 8 i had two coyotes come in below my stand so i drew my bow and one took off the other one was milling around at 40 yards i knew he wouldn't stick around long so i thought now or never and let one fly hit him back a little bit cause he turned when i let the arrow go but he only went 60 yards and piled up didn't have a scale but we figured him to be between 35-40 lbs never thought id get my first coyote with a bow after trying to get one for a few years now calling
Then saturday evening i shot this 6 point after a crazy series of events leading to me shooting it it was my biggest buck to date yet and it was with my bow so i was pretty pumped especially after just shooting my first coyote the day before with the exact same arrow and all

Well Done, you might not hit the yote where you wanted but nice shot to the vitals on the buck.  Congrats
Cheers,
Bill

Great job predator! I got my first buck with a bow this year myself. It's an awesome feeling.
Hunt safely!
