What an Led module looks like
« on: May 14, 2011, 09:59:03 AM »

This is an led module. It just screws into your light. It is offered in three colors red, white and blue. Made in China. This module will fit in a Ultrafire 900 light and any other lights like it under different names.

I also understand there is no US patent or serial number on this module or the lights sold under different labels. Therefore, they can be offered for sale by many vendors. That's good news for you predator hunters.

Interesting....So you just screw it in?.....I always tend to buy more then one item when it comes to predator calling...When you buy the LED does it come in lots?  Right now your already seeing multiple LED flashlights in stores like TJMAXX, MARSHALS, & ROSS...Won't be long before they start to have the ones that will take this LED..  When that happens I'm probably going to buy multiple flashlights so it would be good to have a number of the LED to just to upgrade.. ALSO...if it's this easy...you can change out from yellow, to red, to green and or blue LED too.

Wonder if the flashlights with the multiple LED lights have the same thread as this LED? I already have quite a few of the multiple LED flashlights around... Sometime places like Gander Mountain gives you one if you spend so much money in their store...I'm going to have to pull one of the multiple lights out and play around with it... They call this Reverse Engineering..LOL LOL

Foxpro51 where did you get that carpet also?... I want to get me one like that too!!!  LOL LOL

Uncle buck it is that easy. Just screw off the handle from the head. Once your light is apart and you will see. Now you can just screw in the white, red or blue led module and Presto. They do not make a yellow led yet. I am in contact with the people in China who do. Since there is no US patent on this product and its parts it should be easy to get. Since my son lives in China and speaks the language it could be a big help. Until we can purchase these replacement colored Led modules for our lights many of us are forced to pay a high price for lights with them in. Its called cornering the market which i don't believe is legal.   I see that changing real soon. I also see more powerful lights comming out. Keep you posted.

Very clean and effective set up for predator hunting. Savage 223 caliber predator rifle with 4.5 x 14 x50 power leupold scope with illuminated reticle. This gun shots 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards with Hornaday 55 grain V max bullets. Plenty of gun to make those eye ball shots. Great 2 lb trigger from the factory. The light on top is an Ultrafire 900 light.
