I won't kill one until their young are no longer relying on them for food and care.  Probably start in May.

Na, HE was a leftover from last year. I played "tag" with him on a few occasions. The hole was at a hard spot to get a good shot at but I caught him running from another hole. The dummy just had to stick his little nugget up one time to many. I'm just hit'n the hard spots now cause when the grass starts grow'n game over till they cut hay. Not to mention, MAY is kind of a wash with the turkey hunt'n this year.

  I'm guess'n you may have a white background to hunt them today ...they are out spreadin salt on the roads here ....I didn't see that weather report!!!

Supposed to be pretty chilly for the next few days. Might get a chance to test my artisic skills paint'n the snow. This weather is really goofy.
Note~ males are run'n from hole to hole and the females are build'n nests. They ain't in one spot for too long.
