Web page design and hosting

Anyone here know much about either one?  
 
I am currently in the process of creating a new niche for an existing business my wife and I own.  It will be web based marketing of products my wife and I will make.  
 
Should I hire someone to build a webpage or use software to do it myself?
I see web hosting for $6/month. Is that realistic?

Probabally on the up and up.  Webhosting is fairly cheap anymore.  If you have questions zip me an email or give me a call about it.
