There are going to be times that you will be hunting out of your neck of the woods... You are not going to have time to scout or get to know where are the predators holding up?...Best thing to do is when you go out of county find public lands or knock on landowners doors that are close to Major water ways... The Rivers and streams of Pa... Or maybe an area that has a watershed back in a ways... Pa Game Lands that have a pond on them or a state forest land open to hunting that has a trout stream running through it...
Prey animals need water, Predators need water, the predators are going to be where the Prey animals are...So for your shot in the dark type hunts you do out of areas of your hunting range... Might be a good idea to hunt along streams, creeks, and rivers if you can.
