carcass disposal?
« on: December 04, 2006, 01:45:21 AM »
Hi I'm new to predator hunting and have been researching as much info as I can on the subject.
One thing I cant find info on is if there is anyone who will take a whole coyote off my hands.
My primary reason for hunting coyote is for "wildlife (ie; small game, upland bird) conservation.
I am not interested in trying to make money on the "pelts".
Are there people who will take the whole unskinned coyote.
Any info would be greatly appreciated particularly contact info, as I am eager to try my hand at coyote hunting, but will not do so without a proper means to dispose of the carcass.

p.s. I'm in eastern PA, lehigh valley/allentown area.
thanks, brian.

Yes there are people who will take them whole.
The closest to you (that I know of) is in saylorsburg, its north of wind gap.

Tracker, thanks for the info, that would be a perfect area to stop on the way back home. Do you have a name of the buisness or an email?
thanks again!

Tracker, thanks again,I'll give them a call this week.
I did some howling around sunset in the game lands at nockamixon and heard howls in the distance.
I will try there for my first hunt as I know the area well and will continue to seek spots in any direction outside the lehigh valley.
Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
The only problem I have encountered is carcass disposal, hopefully Schuler's will be the solution.

p.s. your opinion on the remington 125 grain reduced recoil loads in 30-06?
Being a newbie I dont expect to be able to call a "yote" inside of 100 yards.
I'm a decent shot out to 200-250 yards with my .06 and can put four rounds under 1.75 inches from shooting sticks sitting, off the knee sitting, and prone with a back pack rest.
