This is just how it is in Pa at this point in time.....You will call in hundreds of fox, coon etc compared to coyotes...So when hunting for coyotes try to have everything going for you....
Shotgun ammo...At least BB and or # 4 buckshot or if your going to use smaller shot make it Remington HD AKA Hevishot 4,5, or 6. If your going for coyotes specifically might be good to invest in a box of Deadcoyote T Hevishot.....
Rifle shooter that use deer guns....Buy or have someone reload the Varmint type bullets for you...Figure.....Varmint bullets fragment unlike the deer bullets that keep going...there are going to be times when you will not be able to shoot because your using deer bullets and if you had varmint bullets you could have taken a shot because they do fragment.
Then there the fact that if you hit a coyote with a 30 caliber deer bullet it's going to rip that hide for sure...Also it also makes predator caller start to think if a coyote was taken illegally in contest...Just say they used a 30 cal deer bullet but the hide is not ripped....Best to use varmint bullets and they can be had even for what we consider deer guns...
