Hunting Crows With Center Fire Rifles
« on: January 31, 2010, 06:42:47 PM »
I  was out doing some daytime predator calling yesterday...Wow as I called notice the fields below me filled with hundreds of crow...I was hunting with my 17 Rem CF...At the end of one of the stands.....I  just had to take a shot at 1 of the 100's crows below me...Fox season will soon be over...Kind of thought how neat it would be to take the 17 CF for a walk on a week-end afternoon and hunt coyotes but just prior to departing if a shot at a crow presented itself....Why not see if you could pick one off at 250 or maybe even try to connect on one at 300 yards?
By the way...I missed...LOL LOL

did some crow calling behind the house today after coming from the D2 check-in. (missed two :-[)

i've found that crows shot with a 17HMR is real fun!

ask Scott about our simultaneous shot at a crow at about 475-500yds after a coyote stand..... ;D
