i just got my first one today!!! first setup, crow decoy on top of my fx3 and had about 8 crows come in but i was too far behind a tree to catch them. 1 finally went too far in the field and dropped him.i never went hunting for them before. they wouldn't come back. so i setup a little farther in the field and had 1 come in quietly. missed him. twice.  so i waited till after supper. went out in the field setup closer to our elevated deer stand and i hid under it in the weeds. had about 10 come in this time. put the gun up and click. worked the action/click.  i forgot to load shells.   krap!!!!! i stick 3 in and give it a try. missed again. s.o.b.!!  so i load up again and try. nothing came back to the call. so i go back to the house and unload and again i didn't put one in the chamber. but boy was that fun. :D  i'll have the camera next time!!!!

Rockfish made some long shots for those two crows; we missed a bunch and only made three stands. He put both crows in the multi-flora-rose so thick we could only look at were they might have landed.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Just wondering why does the ace of spades card need to be in the pic?

when holding an internet 'picture' contest, steps must be taken to ensure that the picture submitted wasn't taken weeks in advance. so, a specific pose...or a certain item is held in the picture that was designated by the contest organizer to ensure all pictures submitted were taken during the designated time frame.
the options are endless...i've seen a certain card from a deck, a bullet held upside down between the thumb and pointer finger, the front page of a local newspaper, certain # of fingers displayed from a certain hand...etc.
