went out ealry this morning for coyotes, the wind was giving me a hard time so i made one short stand and was leaving when i jumped a hen turkey with about 10 little ones, they were about the size of grouse, way small for this time of the year. anyway, she ran into some high grass when she saw me but the little ones took to flight, they didn't go far but far enough. so i laid down the fox pro and played young turkey in distress, well momma wasn't happy, she comes running out of the high grass about 40 miles an hour, directly at me. she gets about 10 yards away and starts to cirle me, she circled me about 5 times, i shut off the caller and let her find her little ones. pretty neat how aggresive she was.
