Boom goes the ground hog gun.....
« on: April 05, 2006, 06:49:31 AM »
Anyone doing any good on the g-hogs so far this year?  Seems like they are really out and moving a lot when the sun warms things up.  Myself I've been out twice, and have had some luck both times...but I can't hardly wait till the weather warms....just a little bit.  Anybody in the double digits yet? :?:

I'm up to 8 pigs so far. My best shot this year was a 385yd head shot. It was beautiful, sort of cartwheeled him through the air. My .204 is awesome.   :D

I'm only at 2 so far this year.  Both taken with my .17 HMR.  1 at 80 yds and the other at 100 yds.  Great little ground hog gun and it doesn't get the neighbors all worked up, but it doesn't leave the carnage that my .22-250 leaves either.

I only got 2, so far.  I have been working a lot of overtime though.  I am sure to get out sometime soon.  Best of success to everyone.
