Who has a Go Pro or similar camera and how would you rate it? I was thinking about picking one up to record the Adventures of Jaspr and Goose and other PPHA events...Timmy eating his 1st bowl of oatmeal... 8)

;) ;) ;) Lil Goose has one and it worked very well...but has now invested in his second helmet cam recording interior fire fighting....yea he's hard on them..

Lookn2shove....me too. As least I got the driveway cleared to the township road. But it's covering up fast.
It looks like we have 15"-16" right now and no sign of stopping.

Goose, still coming down heavy. Snowing sideways now. Suppose to stop around 7pm-8pm.
Hard to tell depth with settling and high winds.

Snowed until 7PM last night. We got 19" of the white stuff. This might dampen my coyote hunting.

:) Yes he can!.....enjoying a Brownie and coffee as I read this ;D ;D I would share ::) but I don't have to, which is great :P :P......................... and......"Lookn4Nourishment" do not just drop the quarters in the vending machine >:( >:( you have to shoot them in with your trigger finger at the right velocity ;) that way your "Danish", made in China will not get hung up ;D ;D leaving you penniless and starving.... :o :o :o........ 8)

I'm alittle late to the party and not sure what we are talking about now but I have a ion pro 3 and it works pretty well. It's water proof without a extra case, I haven't tested that, and has wifi you can control from your phone. I have used it at night to film fox hunts and you can see pretty good with the gun light on a fox.

I have the gopro 4 black. Great for close work video but not good anything very far away. Even closet stuff looks farther away then it really is.
But I do like the whyfi part for watching what I am recording.

I have gotten footage with it at night too and it works well.
Alex shoots an AR10 in .308 so it has no issue with the calibers I used it with like .17, .204 or the 22-250 its currently on.

I have a GoPro 3 and used it for night hunts only ever getting eyes occasionally.
I just joined Tactacam as a team member and picked up they're 4.0 version of camera, it has a zoom option and blows the competition out of the water on video quality.
There is a very good comparison video on YouTube of Tactacam vs all competition, once you watch that video I hope you make a better decision than buying a GoPro for your hunts.

The Tactacams do look really nice..way better than A Go Pro and the like..
