Title: Shotgunning for chucks
Post by: uncle buck on February 15, 2011, 09:58:35 PM
What a shame we can't use our predator loads up until # 4 buckshot for chucks.. Good training it would be...as you know you can only shotgun for chucks using # 4 shot or smaller.  Just say when the hay or grass is to high for the rifle.. wow jump shooting with a shotgun would be away to hunt chucks in that time frame.  just walk along the edges of fields or tree lines and when one shows him or herself boom or along weed fields ...When one takes off for cover along the edge.. Good hip shooting for sure... Chucks oh how I wish I could try some of my predator  reloads out on them.....

shotgunning chucks at the beagle club is awesome.  really thick cover with grass roads cut through it.  easy to walk around and kill chucks with the shotgun.
