I felt a little better when the sun began to set so I went to the spot that I was saving for the d6 hog hunt. In one hour I had three down and a forth was avoiding my shot. Anyway, I landed three with my 17 hmr 20 gr. I love that little gun. There is still about 8 hogs left in that one spot. It has not been hunted for the last 5 years till now. The owner told me to throw out any one else I see on his 80 acres. I've been watching some nice bucks there too. I think maybe my new 10 pt crossbow will pop me a nice 10 pt buck.
