I'm still pumped up! My season ended on a good note. I didn't make it out Sat. night, but this was Fri. night w/ me and my boss. I got this coyote in Union Co. My boss has a farm out there. Killed it around midnight Fri. night. Came in right around the 15 min. mark. Came in to the Grizz n Gray & distress calls. 120 yard shot. I still can't believe it. The black coyote was a dream come true.

-
hey congrats man that is definatly one of the coolest trophies i have ever seen!
-
Abolt
That is for sure a dandy coyote and one that you will never forget. You also are having a pretty good year on fox again with numbers that most will not believe. Hard work and skill does pay off. Congratulations again, your face has to hurt from smiling so much. :-)
-
That's awesome... Congrats...
-
Congratulations again. Can't wait to see the finished mount already.
-
Team howler, we were hunting east of lewisburg . It just goes to show that being at the right spot at the right time can do for ya. Buckwheat the cost of the full body mount has straighted out my smile a little bit, but i still smile knowing how lucky i was.
-
Abolt I think by placing those Bible versus in your Coyote Light shipments devine intervention is paying off for you....The man upstairs appreciates what your doing down here! Keep up the good work!!!
-
Abolt
I know the price, I payed for a full body bear thinking i would never gother another. Little did i know back then bear numbers
would be what they are now. I killed enough of them now that i quit hunting them and i now have a very expensive dust collector. :-)
-
Still amazing to see even days later...
Congrats again man
Ryan.
-
That is a really nice coyote
-

Jake
Hey thanks, I still can't believe how lucky I was.The coyote weighted 39 lbs. 13 ozs.
-
Nice, weight :D Only have seen a few in my life time, and when I did couldn't get a shot off..
Again Great Job...
-
Very nice. I saw one that looked like it in Allegheny County last year. At first I thought it was a Black Shepard.
-
I woulda thought it was a german shephard!!LOL!! nice job...why are black yotes such a prize(besides being so beautiful)???
-
That is a rare color phase, most are tri-color like a german sheppard.
-
ohh..ok...that thing looks evil with those bloody eyes...i want one lol
-
That is a dog. I've studied coyotes and wolves for 2 decades. It might be a hybrid, but it's not a coyote. It has typical black and tan points found in several breeds. Not a natural look for a wild animal. It may have been a wild dog that someone turned loose or it could have been a lost pet.
-
I don't care what anyone thinks that it is. You did good, just look at your daughter's smile. You took that dog out of the pool and that is good. Dick
-
i was thinkin the same thing papa...
why register to only post badly of someones kill...pretty rude if you ask me...great kill..you got the set up done yet abolt?
-
"it could have been a lost pet"
Hahaha That would make one evil looking pet. ;)
-
I simply stated it was a dog. Hopefully it was no ones pet.
-
More pictures of coyotes. One even looks like Abolts coyote mate.

Mntlaurel,
Im not sure where you studied yote and wolves but black and red colour phases are not thay uncommon. They also happen all across the US. With the reds mostly in the north east. And it could be a coy but that is also unlikly.

It has been long enough for MTNLAUREL to give us another nergative. Say Good-Bye and go on. Dick
