day time coon calling?

I am going coon calling on new years eve around 4 PM before dark any sounds work best. I am trying coon fight on a FoxPro or should I wait till dark?

I'd say go for it at 4 around any den trees or abandoned farm buildings

Keep us posted Gismo, I am getting interested in this coon calling deal but have never tried it. Maybe I can do that where I don't have time to trap those bandits.

let me know how your hunt went. i have the coon fight downloaded to my fox pro scorpion havent had a chance to try it yet. doesant sound like a coon fight to me. but the coon may think otherwise.

I am sorry guys something else came up and didi not make it out. And there are no abandoned buildings.

Look for big trees that may have hollow parts. Usually close to a stream or water source
Most of the time there will be a brownish discoloration on the tree showing the path the coon take up it,
Look closely and you may find hair in the bark.
