Finding traps
« on: December 17, 2010, 10:34:43 AM »
Really makes you a bit upset to find traps on your normal line, but so far i've only ran into people trapping the bridges, which is ok by me, cuz I don't mind walking...now what really upsets me is people not checking thier traps, or not putting tags on thier traps...just frustrating to know you try to do everything you can to be legal and ethical and people are out there shaving corners...the only thing that does is make is a bad rep for trappers, which is too bad

Ya I remember small game hunting once and found a coon in a trap that was dead from starving to death.. ... Some kid was trapping and did not check his traps.. .Warden did fine him however...

Also...cable restraints... coyotes... you better check your set every 24 hours instead of every 36 hours. Coyotes are smart and strong!!!!!
